Waiting to be
unveiled.

Tada!

Glen Appleton, Sales Manager at
Bumpus proudly shows off the 1125R with another Bumpus employee. Glen is
an 1125R expert and has even ridden this bike at Barber.

The bike that should finally offer
legitimate competition to the Japanese sportbikes.

Note the second to last line...
130HP @ rear wheel.

The fairing has great lines. It
looks like a a variation on the Firebolt fairing but to me is much more
aesthetically pleasing.

Side mounted radiators sport these
big air scoops. Mounting the radiators on the side of the 1125R allowed them
to move the engine farther forward which in turn allowed for a short (and
quick-turning) wheelbase of only 54.5 inches.

Front signals are mounted in the
mirrors.

The heart of the 1125R... a 72-degree
Rotax "Helicon" V-Twin.

Reports say that this engine was
in development and testing for about three years.

Appointments are low-key... a positive
thing in my book. Oh, and the bike comes in only one color...
black.

The rear suspension was designed
to be mounted off-set, to the side in order to improve air-flow. Everything
on this bike is thoroughly engineered...

... and it looks great to
boot.

I love the lines from the fairing
and down around the radiator scoops. It just looks fast.

A cockpit view.

Digital speedo and idiot lights
with a mechanical tach. Red-Line at about 10.6k.

In regular Buell fashion... a big
huge front rotor for stopping power.

Double Barrel exhaust pipes provide
a very distinct sound.

A huge stop light in the
rear.

Hmmm... I want one! |
