NEW GRIPS FOR THE CR250

New Scott grips and Honda Handgrip Cement ready to be put to use.

 


The first step was to cut the old grips off.

 


Once the old grips were cut I could easily peel them off.

 


These grips had seen their better day... for sure.

 


The throttle pipe had quite a bit of glue residue on it.

 


I used a fine steel wool to clean the old glue off.

 


The new Scott grips have a "front" indicator/arrow on the end.

 


You have to work pretty fast with the Honda Handgrip Cement. It sets up quickly.

 


Once glued in place I safety wired each grip.

 


The tips of the wire are pushed into the grips so they don't get hung on my gloves.
