MAD KAW BEGINS - JAN 7, 2006  

This is what she looked like at the beginning of the day.

First thing to go was the big fat seat...

...followed by the rear fender which will be replaced by a standard trailer fender.

Dad works to get the rear "grab bar" off..

I'm planning to cut the rear part of the frame away about where dad's thumb is.

Rear shocks... gone, to be replaced by much shorter than stock ones.

Next, off came the turn signals, speedo, tach and headlight.

Lot's of leftover wires! Remember, less is more with a chopper / bobber.

Front fender... GONE!

This is how she looked at the end of the day. Still have a long way to go but it's a start.
