MAD KAW PART SIX - FEB
25, 2006

To get the cover off the stock seat I had to pry
all of these staples out.

It took a while but here is the cover successfully
removed.

Next we cut the seat pan to a solo
shape.

This shape will allow me to use the existing attachment
hardware.

Factory seat foam re-shaped for the solo
cut.

Next came the process of recovering with genuine
red naugahyde.

A late night upholstery party with me, myself and
I.

The final product.

Installing the newly covered seat the next
morning.

Here it is installed.

Re-installed the exhaust with new exhaust washers
from z1enterprises.com.

My cheapo taillight is now flat black to match
the rest of the bike.

And the rear wheel is now Cherry
Red!

At the end of the day here is where we
are.
