Quaker Steak & Lube is quite
a unique place to grab a bite...

...and it's even better if you go
on bike night! Here's one of my favorites from 10/03/07.

This bike had a unique paint job.
Check out the color coordinated light rings.

Another nice little custom jobber..
still in progress.

There were all kinds of bikes on
hand from customs to sportbikes.

The entire parking lot was closed
to cars... only bikes allowed. This is just one small corner but
I would guess there were over 600 bikes in attendance.

These old gas pumps are at
the entrance of the restaurant.

Your basic 21st century chopper...
nice looking indeed but...

...the old school vibe and a well-ridden
look...

...is more likely to catch
my eye.

Here's a good combo of both worlds...
sort of "new" old school.

One of the nicer paint jobs I
saw.

Another corner of the parking
lot.

Only in Florida... this bird sat
on the mirror of his owners bike the entire evening.

Check out the amazing paint
job on this bike... very nice!

The inside of Quaker Steak
looks like a shop with vehicles hanging from the ceiling.

The Corvette room features this
mid 50's vette which is up on a rack...

...and this late 70's vette hanging
on the back wall. These are actual cars... not fakes or scaled models but
the real deal.

The food is outstanding at Quaker
Steak. They are famous for their wings & pretzels.

Check out Quaker Steak if you get
a chance and definitely hit the bike night on Wednesdays in
Clearwater. |
