AMA SUPERMOTO NASHVILLE - 09/01/07 - PAGE 1
(Lot's of pictures! This page may take a while to load but it's worth the wait.)

Supermoto Lites lined up on the starting grid.

Leaning it over hard and sliding through a curve at the end of a 100MPH straight.

A KTM rider exits the dirt section... back onto the pavement.

The ageless Jeff Ward breezes over the table-top section. This part of the track was a little tricky and several riders crashed in this spot.

Ward (#1) was in front of everyone nearly all night long but ended up taking second in the Main Event, behind Yamaha's Mark Burkhart.

The races were good with a lot of heated competition.

Xavier Bellerophon of team LA Fuel GP Husqvarna.

Benjamin Carlson rides for the Aprila Rip It Energy factory team and snagged the Unlimited Championship in 2006. An interesting note... the Aprilias I saw were V-Twins.

The dirt section of the track is like a small Supercorss track with whoops, table-tops and bermed corners. Supermoto riders have to be strong in both road and off-road racing.

Carey Hart of the Rockstar team blazing through the straits!

Supermoto riders hit speeds in excess of 100MPH.
