Myrtle Beach is much more
commercialized than the beaches we are used to.

Long Bay Resort was our home
for the week.

The view from our 10th floor
condo was quite beautiful.

This is one of the piers not
far from where we were staying.

I love palm trees... wish they
would grow in Tennessee.

I had hoped to try surfing for
the first time but we ran out of time. This kid had it
down.

There are lots of Pirate themes
in Myrtle Beach.

B&M Custom Cycles is a cool
little shop on Kings Point Highway.

They and the Biker Community
are understandably a little miffed at the City Council.

Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson
has a hopping rental business.

And it's pretty
reasonable.

I got this Sportster 1200 Custom
for 24 hours and it was only sixty-nine bucks.

My sophisticated navigation system...
a torn off corner of map and a highlighter.

I really wanted a video clip
of me riding the Sporty out of this Sharks mouth...

...but I settled for a few pics
instead.

I stopped by the Myrtle Beach
State Park before returning the Sporty.

I ran into Jake and Elwood...
they're getting the band back together... :-)

Dinner at the House of
Blues.

Dancin' the night away at HOB.
The House Band was smokin;' hot!

I was at the Convention Center
ALL DAY LONG on Sunday...dance, dance, dance!

The Palace Theatre was home to
some of the competition.

Caged for 1500 miles. You can
tell by my look I was ready to be out of the car.

I was even happy to see my wifes
"rat" dog. |
